lyrics

Woke up on the fourth,
Saw up in the sky
Aliens have found
Signals from wifi
We cannot ignore...
Now the time has come
They have seen our memes;
They want us to explain them.

Saw us from afar,
Thought we were bizarre.
Watched us for so long.
Learned our words and songs, and they said:

We never meant to take a thing from you at all.
Just thought you look a little bit like us but small.
And it seems like we need just to ask you what you mean
By the things that you place into your little portable screens.
Bleak senders of the saddest truths of earth untold:
Why must you cry, when you die so soon once you grow old?
If you can look into the sky and believe that we might come
Then you must trust and believe, if anybody’s under the sun.

Took us up inside (up inside what they drove to the Earth from their home)
Space had opened wide (wide enough to provide us a guide to reside)
In an ancient land (first of us came from sand gathered by spacial man)
Written on your hand (maps of the ancient land in the lines on your hands)

We never meant to take a thing from you at all.
Just thought you look a little bit like us but small.
And it seems like we need just to ask you what you mean.
By the things that you place into your little portable screens.
Bleak senders of the saddest truths of earth untold:
Why must you cry, when you die so soon once you grow old.
If you can look into the sky and believe that we might come
Then you must trust and believe that everybody will become one.

Took us up inside (up inside what they drove to the Earth from their home)
Space had opened wide (wide enough to provide us a guide to reside)
In an ancient land (first of us came from sand gathered by spacial man)
Written on your hand (maps of the ancient land in the lines on your hands)

I never wanna know if fact has ever been a possibility to extract, I
Think about the creativity pact with the avalanche of passion that sits in my digestive tract.
And the truth is I really don’t know how to act, but got a knack for finding positive influence to attract.
And I don’t really know what I’m looking for, but I cant ignore the constant questions lurking behind these doors.

I know I’m blind but I try to see why I can’t
See so when I can it will not overwhelm me

I’m simply just a small speck I would rather detect the problems than solve em one at a time. I
Think about the time I waste in a vat chasing a chat that’ll never save the place that we sat.
facing the facts, I can never break out of this machine, knowing that is knowing that I’ll never be me.
Gotta look away from these screens, so I can scream into the void till I wake up from this dream.

If you can look into the sky and believe that we might come
Then you must trust and believe that anything can always be done.
