“Liars” is about the lying mind of the Unreliable Narrator. He will say anything to get what he wants, he will even say lies in a seemingly arbitrary fashion. There is a small voice far in the back of his mind telling him that beyond truth and lies, love is the answer to happiness and well being. He is so bound up in narcissism and solipsism he shuts this voice up and continues to basks in the pride of what he thinks is an awesome type of dude to be.
