The lyrics to this track are based on a dream I reported the morning of 5/22/20 in my dream journal.

“A flash of many random disconnected scenes. First I’m a ghost, then I’m a time traveler. Seeing my own urn break, watching a Bernie Sanders rally I attended, angry about what happened in American politics this year. Ended up in a farm watching workers toil away shucking corn, ferns growing all around them. A stark realization that no material thing matters without the sentiment of a human being attached. Writing the lyrics before the death of George Floyd that sparked the Black Lives Matter protests in the US, and then recording them during the protests, made me realize this even more. American conservative people focused on the destruction of material goods rather than take a moment to notice that police were both arresting and killing black people more than anyone else. They got hung up on the semantics of the phrase "Black Lives Matter" in their minds meaning "Only Black Lives Matter" when in reality the people using that phrase just meant "Black Lives Matter Too." All the while being blind and lost in the fundamentals of American white supremacy and capitalism, where profit and material resources are considered more important than human life by the wealthy old white elites.”
