“Surprise” is where the Unreliable Narrator convinces the world of Quantum Memory Disorder. He falsifies data on a large scale. He introduces the concept through right wing news media, having crackpot scientists with convincing presences on the internet talk on mainstream media about these new quantum psychology studies. They say the reason everyone lies pathologically in this world is because their memories come from different timelines slightly associated with this one and that the similarity of the timelines causes a neurological link through quantum duality of neurological synapses. Quickly an outpouring of researchers not on the payroll debunk it with a series of viral videos, prompting mainstream media to turn on Unreliable Narrator. He decides to go on a popular podcast to “clear everything up” in a super laid back and “uncensored format” which does nothing but expose him for the misguided fool he truly has been his entire life. After the interview he immediately gets caught trying to pay more scientists to gather more data.
